  Pros: Beautiful scenery, lakes, wildlife, and campsites were fantastic and well maintained. Outfitter right at access point is convenient. Nice to have sites accessible by canoe without portage as my ankle was recovering from injury and makes packing easier. Camp staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: Nowhere does it say on website there are cottages in this park with motorboats. We got the feeling that they didn't like the campers very much. Blasting Katy Perry all day everyday and night, motorboats coming within 10m of our shoreline while we were sitting there causing huge waves to splash up, 10,000 lumen light shinning at our site from across the lake the entire night ruins star gazing, driving by our canoe with motorboat at full speed at an unsafe distance. Why the hate on some quiet campers who enjoy the outdoors? or maybe just ignorantly obnoxious? (Not all of the cottagers but enough to impact our enjoyment). Either way next time will book a site past a couple portages so we aren't bothered. Under other circumstances I would chalk it up to just enjoying a cottage weekend but when we had expectations of quiet wilderness it was an unwelcome surprise.

  I live in a close proximity of the park, it's right in my backyard. We have beautiful deep clean lakes as we are at the start of the Canadian Shield here. I walk my dog through the woods to other lakes. There are also portage routes on the lake system. Very beautiful area.
